These terms apply to organizers, team captains, players, and match officials using Footballers.ng, whether through WhatsApp or the website. By registering a tournament, joining a team, or officiating a match, you agree to these terms.
What we provide
Footballers.ng is a tournament management tool: squad registration, match scheduling and reminders, live score entry by match officials, result confirmation, dispute handling, and public standings. We do not organize, referee, or take responsibility for the football itself — that's the organizer's and officials' responsibility.
Payments
- Organizers pay a platform fee to run a tournament through Footballers.ng, processed via Paystack.
- Team entry fees, where collected through the platform, go to the organizer, not to Footballers.ng, unless otherwise stated for a specific tournament.
- Refunds for platform fees are handled case-by-case — contact us before a tournament starts if something's gone wrong.
Results and disputes
Match results are entered by the assigned match official and confirmed by both teams where possible. If a result is disputed, it's flagged as such on the public page until resolved. Footballers.ng's admin team can review and correct results, but the underlying decision on what actually happened on the pitch rests with the organizer and match officials, not with us.
Acceptable use
Don't use the platform to submit false results, harass other users via WhatsApp, or attempt to manipulate standings or payments. We reserve the right to suspend accounts or tournaments that abuse the platform.
No liability for the game itself
We're a scheduling and scorekeeping tool. We're not responsible for injuries, venue issues, weather, or conduct during matches — that responsibility sits with the organizer and the venue.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform grows. Significant changes will be posted here with an updated date.
